The community needed to replace an aging legacy system and update every entry and exit point, including its front and rear gates. Parts of the property ran on separate networks that had to be managed from one place, and the clubhouse needed permission-based access, temporary summer pool access for non-members, and separate access for pool staff to an equipment room.
CWC Security installed Paxton Net2, chosen because it integrates with the other systems already on the site network. We brought the relay-controlled gates onto Net2 with triggers and actions, and tied in the existing video intercom so visitors call the security booth before entry, with every call logged. The system was commissioned with the Paxton Installer app.
Residents use key fobs at the front gate, the property manager opens the rear gate for deliveries and garbage pickup, vendors get time-limited access, and reports show who entered the clubhouse and when. CWC trained the property manager to set schedules and permissions. The community plans to expand Net2 to its tennis courts and indoor pool.
